Jeremy Schonfeld is a celebrated, Billboard charting singer-songwriter, composer/lyricist and film maker. Albums include Brooklyn to Beacon, 37 Notebooks, Blue Skies and All, and concept albums for both Drift and Iron & Coal. Look for the soundtrack recordings for The Father Who Stayed and a new accompanying solo album by Jeremy to be released later this year. Jeremy’s projects for stage include large-scale multimedia concert events based on concept albums Iron & Coal and Drift, and musicals including Spun, Calling All Kates, and Greta. Jeremy wrote and performed two songs for the feature film Clear Blue Tuesday soundtrack (co-starring Jeremy), and penned the featured single “Babazille Mahlangu” for the Broadway in South Africa organization.
Jeremy’s song “House of Love” has been featured in many diverse charitable campaigns including Broadway’s Defining Inequality concert and was the title song for the New York Gay Men’s Chorus Christmas event at Town Hall, “The Holiday House of Love”. Recently, “Haus of Love”, a dance version of HOL, performed by Hamilton’s Blaine Alden Krauss, was a huge club hit all around NYC. Jeremy also scored a Billboard Top 25 hit with his song “Queen” recorded and produced by Frankie Grande. Frankie released a follow-up single, “I Got Me” also written by Jeremy.
Jeremy, a proud Beaconite, is also Co-Founder of the Beacon Bonfire Music and Arts Festival, held annually in Beacon, NY.
